Conrad Stuart Cox, 85, of Roanoke Rapids, died Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Conrad, a native of Halifax County, was the son of the late Early and Donnie Cox. He retired from Champion International Paper Company after 43 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Goldie S. Cox; his daughter, Karen C. Moore of Raleigh; his son, David L. Cox and his wife Christine of Blackwood, NJ; two granddaughters, Melisa Gilbert and her husband, Jamie, and Brittany Cox; grandsons, Colton Moore, Devin Cox and his wife, Mary; four great-grandchildren, Riley, Conner, Hudson Keira Cox.

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

The Family will receive friends Saturday from 7-8:30 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services, 731 Roanoke Ave., Roanoke Rapids, NC.
